Patch Vibe Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 12, 2026 | Version: 1.0
In short: we collect what we need to run Patch Vibe: your account, the content you create, and what you need to earn and get paid. Transcription, the voice-following prompter and eye-contact tracking work on your phone. Meeting audio is uploaded only if you turn on higher-accuracy transcription. We do not sell your personal data. Advertisers never get your contact details. You can delete your account at any time (see our Account Deletion Policy).
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Adioo Technology Limited ("we", "us", "our"), Wuse 2, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria, collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the Patch Vibe mobile app and related services ("the app").
Contact us about privacy at privacy@adioo.org. Our data protection contact is Emmanuel Iyen (iyenemmanuel@gmail.com).
2. What we collect
2.1 Your account
Name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text), profile photo and headline.
2.2 Google and Apple sign-in
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and that provider's account ID for you.
2.3 Your device
A device ID, your push notification token, phone model and operating system version, and app version. We use the device ID to give each phone one free AI summary.
2.4 Content you create
Scripts, takes and recordings, captions, meeting transcripts, summaries and MOUs, Green Room pitches, episodes, stories and comments, and support chats and their attachments.
2.5 Earn Money
Your task answers, screenshots and other proof, your social media handles (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) and your earnings history.
2.6 Payments
For withdrawals: your bank name, account number and account name. We also keep records of plan purchases and wallet top-ups. Card details are handled by Monnify, Google Play or the App Store. We do not store them.
2.7 Usage
The features you use, views and clicks on sponsored cards, and crash and error logs.
3. What stays on your phone
These features work on your phone, and their data is not sent to us:
- on-device transcription
- the voice-following prompter
- eye-contact tracking
- local recordings you have not uploaded
Meeting audio is not uploaded unless you turn on higher-accuracy transcription. If you do, the audio is sent to our transcription provider (see section 6).
4. Camera, microphone and photos
- Camera: to record your takes.
- Microphone: to record takes, to let the prompter follow your voice, and to record meetings.
- Photos / gallery: to save your finished videos to your gallery.
You can turn any of these off in your phone's settings, but the features that need them will stop working.
5. Why we use your data
- To run the app and your account.
- To provide AI features such as summaries, captions and answers to your questions.
- To manage subscriptions and payments.
- To verify Earn Money tasks and pay you out.
- To match Promote orders with creators.
- To prevent fraud, and to stop the same phone getting repeat free trials or free summaries.
- To give you support.
- To send you notifications.
6. AI processing
When you use AI features, we send the relevant text to our AI provider: your scripts, meeting transcripts and the questions you ask. If you turn on higher-accuracy transcription, meeting audio is sent to our transcription provider.
- AI provider: [TO CONFIRM: name and country of the AI provider]
- Transcription (speech) provider: [TO CONFIRM: name of the speech service; location, e.g. Singapore]
Uploaded audio is deleted after it has been transcribed.
[TO CONFIRM: confirm with each provider's terms: "Your content is not used to train AI models."]
7. Who we share data with
We share data only as needed to run Patch Vibe:
- Hosting and storage providers: [TO CONFIRM: names and countries]
- Payments: Monnify, Google Play and the App Store.
- Firebase (Google): push notifications. Google and Apple: sign-in.
- AI and transcription providers (section 6), LiveKit for live studio video, and Cloudflare.
- Advertisers: only your approved answers to their task, [TO CONFIRM: list exactly what they see, e.g. answer text, proof screenshots, social handle]. They never receive your contact details.
- Other users: your public profile, your place on the top-earner listing, published episodes, stories and comments are visible to other users.
- Law enforcement and regulators: only when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
8. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Nigeria, including [TO CONFIRM: countries, e.g. Singapore for transcription]. When data leaves Nigeria (or, for users in the EU or UK, leaves those areas), we use the safeguards required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies, the GDPR: [TO CONFIRM: safeguards used, e.g. standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions].
9. Our legal basis
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (and the matching grounds under the GDPR for users in the EU or UK), we rely on:
- Contract: to provide your account, content features, subscriptions, payments and payouts.
- Consent: for optional features such as uploading meeting audio for higher-accuracy transcription, and for marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud and repeat free trials, keep the app secure, and fix crashes.
- Legal obligation: to keep payment and payout records, and to respond to lawful requests.
10. How long we keep data
- Account data and your content: while your account is open.
- Payment, subscription and payout records: for the period required by tax and finance law, [TO CONFIRM: period, e.g. 6 years].
- Support chats: [TO CONFIRM: period].
- Crash, error and usage logs: [TO CONFIRM: period].
- The device ID record for the free AI summary is kept even after your account is deleted, so the free summary can't be claimed again on the same phone.
11. Security
Data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and affected users as the law requires.
12. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong
- delete your data (see our Account Deletion Policy)
- export your data
- object to how we use your data
- withdraw your consent at any time

13. Children
Patch Vibe is for people aged [TO CONFIRM: minimum age, e.g. 18] and over. Because Earn Money is popular with students: [TO CONFIRM: state whether users under 18 may join with a parent's permission, and how that permission is given].
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us at privacy@adioo.org and we will delete it.
14. Marketing and notifications
We send push notifications about your account, tasks, payouts and content, and may send marketing emails. You can turn push notifications off in your phone's settings or [TO CONFIRM: in-app settings path], and unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in each email.
15. Cookies and web pages
When you sign in with Google or Apple, or pay through Monnify, those screens are run by those companies, which may use their own cookies under their own privacy policies. [TO CONFIRM: if Patch Vibe has its own website, describe its cookies here]
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above and tell you through the app or by email before important changes take effect.
